>> 1 egg
>> 1 cup sifted unbleached flour
>> 1 cup ice water
>> 6 large mulberry leaves
Beat egg in a medium size bowl. Add water and flour. Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Heat cooking oil in a deep pan to 350F.
Lightly dip one side of a mulberry leaf in the batter; then the other side.
Immediately fry it until golden brown.
Drain on a rack.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on it or sprinkle with a cinnamon/sugar mix.
Note: Let the water sit in the freezer for 15 minutes before using it.
